Setting up devices for Catena workshops can vary based on your role as a facilitator or attendee. In this guide, we'll cover the setup for different scenarios involving one, two, or more devices, and the use of the Cockpit, Live Event, and Remote Control.

Scenario 1: Facilitator with One Device (e.g., Laptop)

In this scenario, you're a facilitator using a single device to manage your workshop.

1. Laptop or Computer:
   • Log in to Catena on your laptop or computer.
   • Access the Cockpit to manage your workshop, monitor sequences, and control the workshop's timing.
   • Optionally, access the Live Event on the same laptop or a separate screen for a fullscreen view or for attendees to follow along.

Scenario 2: Facilitator with Two Devices (e.g., Laptop and Smartphone)

This scenario involves a facilitator using both a laptop and a smartphone for added control.

1. Laptop or Computer (Device 1):
   • Log in to Catena on your laptop.
   • Open the Cockpit to manage the workshop and access real-time information.
   • Optionally, use a projector to display the Live Event to attendees.
2. Smartphone (Device 2):
   • Access the Catena platform on your smartphone.
   • Navigate to the "Remote" feature.
   • Use your smartphone as a remote control to navigate between sequences, pause or resume the workshop, and control the Live Event if projected.

Scenario 3: Facilitator with Three Devices (e.g., Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone)

This scenario offers the facilitator even more control and convenience.

1. Laptop or Computer (Device 1):
   • Log in to Catena on your laptop.
   • Use the Cockpit for real-time workshop management.
   • Optionally, project the Live Event for attendees.
2. Tablet (Device 2):
   • Use the tablet as an additional device to access the Cockpit or Live Event for backup or added control.
3. Smartphone (Device 3):
   • Use the smartphone as a remote control to navigate sequences, pause or resume, and control the Live Event if projected.

Scenario 4: Attendees with Personal Devices (e.g., Laptop and Smartphone)

In this scenario, attendees use their personal devices to participate in the workshop.

1. Laptop or Computer (Device 1):
   • Attendees log in to Catena on their laptops or computers.
   • They access the workshop through the Catena platform, participate in discussions (coming soon), and follow the sequences in the Cockpit or Live Event if provided by the facilitator.

   • Attendees can use their smartphones to access the workshop in Remote mode, which allows them to follow along with the workshop's progress, receive notifications, and interact with the facilitator.
